BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Agrarian Reform in Caraga Region (DAR-13) announced an outstanding 102-percent achievement in the implementation of Project SPLIT (Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling) in 2023.
According to DAR-13 regional director Merlita Capinpuyan, the department successfully registered 6,757 e-titles, encompassing approximately 9,639 hectares across the region last year.
Capinpuyan highlighted, "DAR-13 is currently ranked third for e-titles registered and second for titles distributed nationwide," emphasizing the significant contribution of their efforts.
The accomplishment also translated into tangible benefits for 6,758 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in the region, she added.
Encouraging DAR-13 personnel to persist in their dedicated work, Capinpuyan stressed the importance of supporting ARBs, especially those holding collective titles.
