BAGUIO CITY – Business Owners Get Additional Convenience with SM City Satellite Business One-Stop-Shop
A satellite Business One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) has recently commenced operations at SM City, offering business taxpayers in Baguio City more options for permit processing and tax payments. Allan Abayao, head of the city’s business permit and licensing division, stated that the satellite BOSS will cater to approximately 23,000 registered businesses in the city until the end of March.
The initiative aims to alleviate congestion at the BOSS located in the city hall, providing a solution to overcrowding and long queues, according to Abayao. Processing activities, such as renewal, retirement, and change of address, are organized based on the first letter of the registered trade name. Trade names starting with letters A to H are processed in January, I to P in February, and Q to Z, numeric, and special characters from March 1 to 20.
Situated between Cinemas 3 and 4, the offsite BOSS operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays. Despite SM's regular opening time at 10 a.m., arrangements have been made to allow business permit applicants entry at 8 a.m., demonstrating Baguio's commitment to facilitating ease of doing business for its clients.
In addition to the satellite office, the business permits and licensing office also offers online transaction options for further convenience. (PNA)
