CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The local government is urging business proprietors to promptly renew their business permits for the upcoming year, 2024, using the city's streamlined online registration system.
The City Treasurer's Office (CTO) issued comprehensive guidelines on Thursday, outlining a "three easy steps" process for business renewal and registration, set to commence from January 2 to January 20, 2024.
In these steps, proprietors or their designated representatives are required to access the city government website, input necessary information, and upload relevant documents for scanning or presentation. The online platform also facilitates the seamless payment of fees.
Assistant City Treasurer Leonil Mistula emphasized in a statement that the goal is to process a minimum of 30,000 business permits for the upcoming year. Although walk-in clients will still be accommodated at City Hall, Mistula strongly recommended utilizing the online transaction system to minimize potential delays and complications.
