Coco Martin, a well-known devotee of the Black Nazarene, participated in the Traslacion 2024 following a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Addressing his fellow devotees at the Quirino Grandstand on January 9 before the procession commenced, the 'Batang Quiapo' star delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of unwavering commitment to their faith.
Martin encouraged the crowd, comprised of people from all walks of life, to persistently pursue their dreams without succumbing to fatigue. He stressed the significance of prayer and faith in the Black Nazarene, asserting that their devotion is always acknowledged.
In our prayers, in our trust in our Lord, He always hears us, and He will never let us down," remarked the actor.
Sharing his personal perspective, Martin revealed that he relies on the presence of the Lord during challenging times. He highlighted the continuous manifestation of miracles as a result of his steadfast faith in God.
I believe in one thing only; I know that there is a God. I know that whenever I have a request, whenever I face a problem, I know He is always there. That's when I have the opportunity to contemplate, and that's when miracles happen," he added.
